The word “arroyos” is Spanish for “streams”. The word “esteros” is Spanish for “marsh”. This country town is named Arroyos Y Esteros because it is full of streams, brooks, and marsh land. We are planting a church in this country town. It has a population of about 20,000 souls. The need in this town is great.

We have seen several souls saved in this area. Just like in Caaguazu, we started meeting with these folks under a tree in the front yard of an elderly couple’s home. We are now meeting in a small building that used to be a restaurant. Please pray for the Lord to work mightily in this area, for many more souls to be saved, and for this small group of new converts to grow.
